CBSE Science Formula In: DU , Theory : Practical:: 70 : 30
The Delhi University (DU) has followed the rule of CBSE for admissions into Science programs this year. As per the rule of CBSE the weight age of theory exam is 70% and the weight age of practical exam is 30%.

The Delhi University has gives the importance of CBSE theory and practical formula in Science, Mathematical Science and Home Science courses. If a student who has studied a subject in which the weight age of practical exam is more than 30% so in this case 10% marks will be deducted from that subject. For example if a student get 95% marks so it will be treated as 85% in the case of high weight age of practical exam marks.
The CBSE students will have the maximum advantage of this because in CBSE 70:30 rule is in force. Keeping in viewing the last year, University has decided not to include the internal marks in the practical marks.
The admissions of student in Science course will be based on the mark in PCM. PCB, and PCMB.

- Commerce (Accounts)
- Computer Science
- Home Science
- Music (Only Music Hons)
- Physical Education (Hons courses)
- Political Science
- Business studies
The Delhi University has issued the list of elective subjects; the students can use any four subjects among them from the above mention elective subjects. Adding a language subject in best four subjects is compulsory. If the student adds any other subject in best four subjects form given elective subject so he/she have suffer the loss of 2% on that subject.
