DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE:
Department of commerce was starting form 1967. The main of Department of commerce is to define the commerce education. Because, of the department of Commerce Master of International Business (MIB) and Master of Human Resource and Organizational Development (MHROD).
NCWEB: The Non-collegiate Women’s Education Board- University of Delhi was established in the year of 1922 through the amendment of Delhi University Act in 1943.
The NCWEB is a college for only women’s students.

The Dr. B.R Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research was started from March 1991 by the then Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Sh. Chandra Shekharji, on the occasion of the birth centenary of Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
The aim of Dr. B.R Ambedkar Center is to impart the best education in high quality postgraduate education and research in Biomedical Sciences stream.

DEPARTMENT OF BIOPHYSICS
The Department of Biophysics has got a two week workshop titled “Summer school in bioinformatics (SSB)”. This is only for Under graduates students from two year it would come in existence.
The main aim of Department of Biophysics is to give students the hands-on training in the area of computational Biology. This workshop gives the problems to Students and encouraged them to solve it using their considerate of biology and different computational tools.
The workshop of Department of Biophysics was commenced during summer vacation so that students can better utilize their holidays and get some additional skills during this period without affecting their regular classes.
DEPARTMENT OF EAST INDIAN STUDIES
The Department of East Indian studies was established in the year of 1964. The Department of East Indian studies was established as a Chinese study centre. In 1969 this department added the Japanese studies.

DEPARTMENT OF GENETICS
Department of Genetics is the department of research which research in LAB, Bacteria and various medical related problems.
Following biggest researches are done by Department:
lab has demonstrated the genetic basis of heavy-metal tolerance in bacteria and characterized the bacteriocin in bacteria.
Lab has developed several novel strategies, based on RNAI and artificial micro RNA, for the control of viral and fungal pathogens, and insect pests in crops.
Release of first ever CMS-based hybrid, DMH-1, in mustard giving >20% higher yield than best Indian varieties
Hybrid, DMH-11, based on transgenic technologies (barnase-barstar system) is undergoing biosafety analysis.
DEPARTMENT OF GEOLOGY
The Department of Geology is a center of advanced studies. The department of Geology was established in the year of 1966. The department has been approved with Ford Foundation award for equipment, Special Assistance Programme (DSA) of the UGC, COSIST, DST- FIST (level I) and presently Centre for Advance Studies (CAS) of UGC.
The Department of Geology is rather well operational for advance research in Earth Science.
