DU UG Admission Cut off Formula Changed 1st-10 Cutoff List:
The University of Delhi (DU), candidates shall not have to rush for admission this year because from this year not only the admission process but also the cut off scheme will be changed.

The University of Delhi (DU), In the first 5 cut off lists there will be 3-3 day’s gaps will be allotted to all the colleges of DU and after that 2-2 day’s gap. The University wants to release only the 6-7 cut off lists this year but the admission committee has directed to University to release at least 10 cut off lists.
In Delhi not only the admission process formula has changed but the cut off formula will be changed from 2015-16 academic sessions. It will determined in this year that after the each cut off list one day gap will be allotted to the colleges before releasing the next cut off list.
The admission committee has arrived at a decision that there should be the gap of 3 days up to the releasing of first 5 cut off lists and after 2-2 days for the next cut off lists.
Maths of Cut list
According to the sources the decision has been taken for the first 5 cut off lists. If the first list comes up in the Monday so the admissions days will be Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. There will be no admission on Thursday that day colleges will made cut off lists and sent the next cut off lists to the University. It means the next cut off list will be comes up on Friday and the admissions days will be Friday, Saturday and Monday and after that the admissions will not be made on Tuesday.
The same procedure will be continuing for other cut off lists.
Admission Committee Members wants 10 cut off lists
The Delhi University does not seem keen to issue too many cut off lists on the contrary the DU Admission Committee wants to Publish minimum 10 cut off lists for admissions. However the question is that the University have to release the 10 cut off lists for the reserved category candidates and the seats for general candidates has also remain vacant. So that’s why the Admission committee wants that the each colleges have release minimum 10 cut off lists for all categories candidates.
Last year 8 cut off lists were released
In previous year Delhi University has released the 8th cut off list for taking admission of candidates but the 1 day gap policy was not available in the last year which is going to be implemented this year by the University.
Previous year after the 3 cut off lists 3 days gap were allotted and after the 5 cut off lists for each cut off list 2 days gap will be allotted.
