DU UG Cut Off/Merit List Formula Will Be Tension Free:
The University of Delhi (DU), new admissions guidelines will also affect the cut off list, as per the new admission policies and guidelines, the pattern of cut off list will also change which is easy to understand by the students in the comparison of previous year.
The additional criteria circle has been minimized which has left direct effect on cut off list. Indeed due to the additional eligibility criteria the colleges were makes such types of provisions in cut off list that had made it challenging for the students to overcome the difficulty.
Cut off will be change
Until now the colleges used to issue the cut off list in the 90-95 80-90 patterns which is difficult for students to understand. But from this year the cut off pattern will be change from now onward the cut off list that will come up in the pattern of 85, 90. For example 90% are required for Science, 92% are required for Commerce, and 80% are required for arts. If a candidate gets 92% in his qualifying examination which is required for taking admission in B.com or in which math subjects is required, So in that case the marks obtained in the math subject by the candidate will not affect the admission of candidate.
It is finalized that if a candidate changes the stream so he/she will have maximum to maximum 5% bear the loss. If a candidate change the stream from science to commerce so in this case he/she will have to bear the loss from 1% to 5%. The reduction of marks will be depending on the college. 2.5% deduction formula is set for the vocational subject.
The students have to be easy in the best 4 subject’s calculation due to the common guidelines, because there will be not so much difference in cut off marks of colleges. The differences between colleges cut off list will be of maximum to maximum 2-3%.
